Children leaders from the Jiayuan Music School, a partner we’re delighted to have been working with for a while now, paid a visit to our
office on the morning of 3 October to interview our CEO Heidi Tucker, along with Anchor’s Executive Manager for Care Services Nicky Anderson, and Team Leader for Kinship Care, Sheryl Weeks.

These young leaders (aged 10–16 yrs) visited Anchor in order to understand how they can help other children who have lived experience of family violence. Their program “Children help Children” raises money for chosen organisations each year with a world-class classical music concert in December.

The young leaders interviewed Anchor CEO Heidi Tucker, along with our other managers, to truly understand the difficulties facing many children within our communities. They will showcase these interviews, along with their own kind wishes for young victims of family violence, in their video shown at their upcoming concert near the end of the year.

A big heartfelt thank you to the children and young people of Jiayuan Charity for their kindness and support!
