At our recent Anchor All Staff Day, our people across the organisation came together as one in a celebration of teamwork and creativity.
This year’s activity saw teams donning art smocks and picking up paint brushes in a collaborative painting activity, where each team took charge of painting a segment of a larger picture.
There was plenty of laughter, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose as we embarked on a unique artistic endeavour that symbolised our collective strength.
In a testament to the artistic talents and teamwork abilities of our staff, the final painting is a beautiful artwork filled with colour that we should all be proud of.
We give our thanks to Leigh from YDS for her artistic guidance. Leigh gave a description of the meaning of the piece, called Pathway through the Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees:
The Anchor teams are the huge rainbow eucalypt trees, cheering our children, young people and carers along on their pathway to independence, safety and thriving lives.
The bark changes colour as it sheds its bark and ages there is a part of us they take with them on their journey- somehow it forms the most beautiful rainbow colours on the tree over time.
One by one as they leave Anchor behind to thrive in their own lives.
We at Anchor are all joining together supporting children, young people and adults to access support – even when we’re at different locations and teams across Victoria including Lilydale, Gippsland, Pakenham and Scoresby.
