Strong community partnerships are at the heart of creating meaningful change — and this Christmas, we’re grateful to Irene and the team at Myer Eastland for their generous support of families experiencing homelessness.

Last week, our team headed out to pick up beautifully packed Christmas hampers, filled with festive treats and essentials for families in our homelessness services, including families spending Christmas in temporary motel accommodation.

These little baskets of joy help to spread happiness and dignity during a challenging time for the people we support.

Myer Eastland’s support extends beyond Christmas, with a strong ongoing commitment to Anchor throughout the year. Their efforts were recognised in 2025, winning the Community Hero Award at the Australian Heroes of Retail Risk awards.

Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping families feel supported and in creating real pathways out of homelessness.
