Not only are the staff of Myer Eastland a hard-working bunch who raise vital funds for children and families in Anchor’s homelessness services, but there are also some very brainy trivia heads amongst their team.

Staff from across Anchor were in attendance on the night, where we got a chance to discuss the work we do, and how impactful the donations that Myer Eastland staff make are to those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.

There were some tricky questions (the collective noun for flamingos is a flamboyance), and our teams scored well in the end.

Myer Eastland’s commitment to supporting Anchor dates back to 2017, and has featured many different fundraising events, all with the typical Myer flair and fun.

$4,500 was raised on the night, with the Myer Community Fund doubling that to $9,000.

In total, they have raised an incredible $95,000 in donations!

Partnerships like this are truly what make a difference in providing support and care for so many in our community.
