Anchor was proud to join the Fox FM team at their lively Brekky in the Burbs broadcast in Bayswater on Friday, 30 May. From as early as 6am, hundreds of families and children gathered to enjoy the energy of the live Fifi, Fev & Nick show—and to show their support for young people doing it tough.

The event was packed with excitement: live music from Conrad Sewell, giveaways, prizes, and an incredible community vibe. But for us, the real highlight was the chance to speak with locals about youth homelessness and the work Anchor does to support children and young people at risk.

It’s always inspiring to meet community members who care deeply about creating real change for young people facing homelessness or housing insecurity. Events like this remind us how powerful community support can be in tackling youth homelessness and building brighter futures.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, shared their stories, or learned more about how Anchor provides support services for vulnerable young people across Melbourne’s outer east.
