Our two-day event saw Yarra Ranges and Gippsland cafes come together to support our clients and combat youth homelessness.
17 local cafes participated in the campaign on June 13th and 14th, where they encouraged their customers to donate $2 on top of their coffee orders.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, with generous donations pouring in from coffee lovers who were eager to make a difference – some rounding their orders up to ten and twenty dollars.
In total, the Cafe Heroes campaign raised over $2,000.
The cafes did a great job promoting the event through their social pages and getting the word out amongst the community.
The support we received from both the cafes and the community was amazing to see. The campaign is inspired by how much people love their local coffee spots, and the strength of community in places like cafes. The engagement we received on the campaign shows that community spirit is well and truly alive.
